FullTilt has just introduced a new informative site covering all the facts of the “Durrrr Challenge”, an amazing online heads up tournament involving some of the greatest high stakes poker players taking on the online poker star Tom “durrrr” Dwan.
The new section offers online poker players and followers the chance to follow this incredible internet poker challenge and receive timely statistical updates. With this new “durrrr Challenge” site poker players can view all the poker action and check out each poker hand played during this poker challenge, and get lots of stats, including number of hands played, session time, amount won, average won during each hand and much more.
Around six months ago, the twenty-three year old internet poker star dealt out a heads-up poker challenge for any player with the cash, time and capability to accept it. Any poker star entering the challenge has to wager $500,000 against Dwan’s $1.5 million. Tom’s challenge specifies that at least 50,000 hands need to be played at the same time at four or more poker tables of no-limit Hold’em or pot-limit Omaha. At the end of the heads up challenge, the player who has more cash will win the pool. In essence if you enter the challenge and win $1 after the 50,000 poker hands, then you will win durrrr’s $1.5 Million, but if he triumphs by $1 then he will win your $500,000.
Up to now, some poker players have agreed to to play the “durrrr challenge”, including WSOP Champ Phil Ivey and David Benyamine, yet, only Patrick Antonius has accepted the poker challenge. Until now, both poker players have taken part in a total of 20,647 hands out of 50,000, with Tom Dwan leading the count $726,546 total.
